Feather Ring With Green Prasiolite

Prasiolite Cushion Cut stone set with a wrap of hand carved feathers, mounted to a grooved tapered ring shank. William Cheshire wanted to create a large but delicately made ring with an organic feel. The gentle feathers create the setting as they wrap around the 6.5ct checkerboard, cushion cut Prsiolite. Stone measurements 12mm x 12mm x 7mm depth.The stone sits high on the shank giving it a real lift and William has left openings around the underside of the mount to allow light to pass through and gives the ring a delicate feel. Finally the finish is created by hundreds of tiny scratches to the 18ct yellow gold metal creating a soft honey texture to the gold.
